Trail Running in East Yorkshire
Trails & Tails is a scenic trail running event located at Field House Farm in Tibthorpe, near Driffield. The event takes place in the East Yorkshire countryside and is open to both solo runners and Canicross participants running with dogs. The course features paths through rural landscapes with gentle elevation changes.
Participants can choose between two different distances:
- 4 miles
- 8 miles
The event is held at the Field House Coffee Barn, which providing access to on-site amenities such as parking and indoor toilets. Food and drink are available for participants after the run. The timing of the event is scheduled to coincide with the standard Canicross season to ensure cooler temperatures for participating dogs.
The competition uses electronic chip timing to record participant results. Every finisher receives a medal, and prizes are awarded to top performers in various categories, including specific awards for dogs. All participants must be at least 18 years old on the day of the event. Registration is handled online through a pre-entry system, with the closing date several days before the event.
