Trails 4 Tails, Codorus State Park, Hanover PA
Trails 4 Tails is a trail running event held at Codorus State Park offering multiple distance options on a looped course that passes through varied terrain and local historic sites. The route includes about a mile of pavement, open fields, winding singletrack, and a lakeshore stretch when conditions allow. Runners pass the Chestnut Orchard, the site of Rummel Farm, and the Mary Ann Furnace area.

The ultra consists of seven loops of 5.72 miles for a total of approximately 40 miles and about 4,200 feet of elevation gain. The relay uses the same seven-loop format with roughly 600 feet of elevation gain per loop and teams may include up to seven runners. The 25K is three loops of 5.72 miles, totaling about 17.2 miles with roughly 1,800 feet of elevation gain.
Pavilion #1 serves as the start and finish area and provides a fully stocked aid station and restrooms. The aid station offers Tailwind, Coke, ginger ale, bacon, pierogies, quesadillas, grilled cheese, pickles, and a variety of sweet and salty snacks. Cutoff windows apply: an 11 hour overall cutoff for the ultra and relay, and a 7.5 hour cutoff for the 25K.
Camping is available at Codorus State Park near the start area. Awards are given to top finishers with additional custom finisher awards for first place female and male in specified distances. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
