Girls on the Run Central Maryland Carroll County 5K
The Fall 2026 Season Celebratory 5K in Carroll County is the closing event for Girls on the Run Central Maryland teams. It is scheduled for Sunday, November 22, 2026, at 1235 Tech Ct., Westminster, MD 21157. The course length is a 5K, which equals 3.1 miles.
Program participants receive a commemorative medal for completing the event. Every registered participant will receive a 5K shirt if registered by April 27, 2026. Program participants and coaches have already been registered for the 5K and do not need to register again. Registration options listed include a 5K Buddy rate of $40 and a Community Runner rate of $40, and no refunds are allowed.
Packet pick up is available at Run Moore, 28 W Main St, Westminster, and is intended for registrants other than the girls and coaches. Safety procedures require every participant to wear a race bib and assign a running buddy; the council monitors the course, conducts head counts, and maintains a safety plan that trains staff and volunteers to respond to incidents. Volunteers appointed through the council undergo a background check. Volunteer roles include set up and tear down, registration, course marshals, running buddies, water stations, cheer stations and happy hair.
