TrailFest - Salcey Forest
TrailFest at Salcey Forest is a multi-distance day of trail running held in Salcey Forest, NN7 2HX, United Kingdom. The event offers four distances and routes that share many forest sections. The majority of routes follow well maintained pathways with no asphalt except two road crossings on the longer courses. Surfaces are mainly crushed stone or trodden forest floor with occasional grassland sections; most of the route is hard packed.

The organiser operates tiered entry fees with different prices before and after 28/06/2026 and an extra charge for unaffiliated entrants. Parking at Salcey Forest is paid, with fees reported between £3.80 and £9. The number 33 bus serves the forest and runs between Northampton and Milton Keynes. The venue is close to Northampton and near Junction 15 of the M1; the nearest mainline station is Northampton.
The event is cupless at aid stations, so participants must carry a cup or bottle to take fluids. Mandatory kit differs by distance: 10K has no mandatory kit but a cup or bottle is strongly recommended, while half marathon, marathon and 50 km require a cup or bottle of at least 200 ml.
