TrailFest at Salcey Forest in Northamptonshire is a multi-distance trail running event held on 28/06/2026. The event offers four measured options: 10K, Half Marathon, Marathon, and 50 km. Salcey Forest is a Forestry England site with a cafe and toilets and on-site parking (paid). The number 33 bus serves the forest and the nearest train station is Northampton.

The routes share much of the same forest sections and mostly follow well maintained pathways of crushed stone or trodden forest floor. There is no asphalt except two road crossings on the longer routes. Ground can be soft after rain; otherwise most of the trail is hard packed. GPX files are available as a backup and the course will be heavily marked on the day.
Entry is tiered and published offers list prices between £22 and £64. Age restrictions apply by distance. Dogs are not permitted. Crew is allowed for longer distances but pacers are not permitted to run alongside competitors except in the final 100 m. The event operates a single day cut off and enforces mandatory kit for longer distances: a cup or bottle (200 ml minimum) is compulsory for half marathon, marathon and 50 km; 10K has no mandatory kit but no cups are provided. Missing mandatory items incurs a one hour penalty. All finishers receive a medal and a choice of Big Bear drink. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
