Winwick Hall Trail Races
Winwick Hall Trail Races are fully marked and marshaled trail events held on and around the Winwick Hall estate in Winwick, Northants. The event includes running over mixed terrain, with grassland, country paths and some hard packed trails. Routes include uphill sections and descents and are marked with arrow signs.
Distances offered:
- 10k
- 5k
- 2k children's fun run for ages 4 to 12; adults may accompany children.
Minimum ages on race day are 16 for the 10k, 12 for the 5k and 4 for the 2k. The 10k route includes a water station at approximately halfway and water is available at the finish. Professional first aid is available at the start and finish with course access for medical support, and volunteers provide on course assistance.
The event is cupless; participants should bring their own cup or water bottle. Trail shoes are advisable if there has been rain; road shoes are acceptable on dry ground. All finishers receive a race medal. The races are held in aid of the Bruce Green Foundation, with a proportion of entry fees donated to the charity.
Parking is available at Winwick Hall and the Polo Pavilion Tea Room will be open to spectators. Entries and transfers close seven days before the event. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
