Winwick Hall Trail Races
Fully marked and marshaled trail races start and finish at Winwick Hall, on trails around the Winwick Hall Estate. The event comprises multiple distances and a children's fun run, with routes across farmland and estate paths.
- 10k - minimum age 16 years, entry fee £20
- 5k - minimum age 12 years, entry fee £15
- 2k (children) - ages 4 to 12 years, entry fee £8; adults may accompany children
Routes use a mixture of grassland, country paths and hard-packed trails and include some hills and faster descents. All routes are fully marked with arrow signs. The 10k route has a water station at the halfway point; water is also provided at the finish. Professional first aid will be available at the start and finish with access to the course, and volunteers will provide on-course support.
Entries and transfer of entries close seven days before the event. Running with dogs is not permitted because the routes use footpaths across farmland. Trail shoes are advisable if the ground has been wet; road shoes may suffice on dry ground. Races are cupless so participants should bring a cup or water bottle. All finishers receive a specially commissioned race medal.
