Event Overview
The Winwick Hall Trail Races are fully marked and marshaled events taking place on the trails of the Winwick Hall Estate. The event features a 10k and a 5k run, as well as a 2k fun run for children.
Race Details
The 5k and 10k courses start and finish at Winwick Hall. The terrain is a mixture of grassland, country paths, and hard-packed trails, with some hills and descents. All routes are fully marked with arrow signs. The children's 2k race is for participants aged 4 to 12, and adults are permitted to accompany their child in this event.
Participant Information
- Minimum age for entry is 16 for the 10k, 12 for the 5k, and 4 for the 2k.
- Running with dogs is not permitted as the courses use footpaths across farmland.
- The event is run in aid of the Bruce Green Foundation, with a portion of each entry fee going to the charity.
- Entries and transfers close seven days before the event.
On-Course Support and Facilities
Professional first aid is available at the start, finish, and on the course. A water station is provided on the 10k route, and water is also available at the finish. The event is cupless, so participants must bring their own cup or water bottle. Trail shoes are advised if conditions are wet. There is plenty of parking on site.
Post-Race
All finishers receive a commemorative race medal. Free digital race photos are available for download after the event. The Polo Pavilion Tea Room on site serves hot and cold drinks, homemade cakes, and snacks. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
