Trail Run at Sly Park - Summer
Trail Run at Sly Park - Summer is a multi-distance trail event held at the Sly Park Recreation Area - Scales (Equestrian Staging Area) in Pollock Pines, CA on August 22, 2026. The event is organized by Troy's California Trail Runs and is held under a special use permit with the El Dorado National Forest.
The course follows trails surrounding Jenkinson Lake through pine forest and horse trails. Courses are marked with ribbons, signs & gypsum, and aid stations are available along the routes. All finishers receive a commemorative medal. The event is staged at the Sly Park parklands and is offered multiple times each year to present the park in different seasons.
