Salmon Falls 50K Endurance Run
The Salmon Falls 50K Endurance Run is a point-to-point ultramarathon located in the foothills of Sacramento, California. The event is organized by Coloma River Races, a non-profit organization that utilizes race proceeds to support Breakthrough T1D in its mission to treat and cure type 1 diabetes. The 50 km course begins at the Magnolia Ranch Trailhead near Coloma. From the start, the route incorporates the majority of the trails within the Cronan Ranch area. Participants follow the trails as they wind through the foothills, eventually heading toward the finish line located at Folsom Lake. The terrain consists of adventurous trails characterizes the region between Coloma and Folsom.
