Event overview
The Salmon Falls 50K Endurance Run is a non-profit trail event organized by Coloma River Races on Saturday, February 28, 2026. The event offers two distances and supports Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF). Registration and refund details note a 50% refund available before January 28, 2026; no rollovers, deferrals, or exceptions are permitted.

Course and logistics
The 50K is a point-to-point trail race that runs largely on trails in the Cronan Ranch area. For 2026, the finish line for both distances is at Browns Ravine. The 50K course includes additional Salmon Falls Ranch trails. The 50K start is at the Magnolia Ranch Trailhead parking area near Coloma and the half marathon start is at the Sweetwater Trail parking lot on Salmon Falls Road. Aid support includes six fully stocked aid stations and a self-serve water station at about mile 25 of the 50K, with water, electrolyte drink, sodas, gels, fruit, chips, and other common ultra racing foods.
Participant items and awards
Runners receive a finisher medal made in El Dorado Hills. 50K entrants receive a premium half-zip pullover with gender-specific sizing; half marathon entrants receive a lightweight half-zip pullover with unisex sizing. Awards include overall male and female honors per distance, a custom "dead last" award in the 50K, and age-group awards for the top three male and female finishers in each listed age category: 19-under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+.
