Trail Days Half Marathon
The Trail Days Half Marathon takes place on May 17, 2026. It is a new event introduced for the 2026 edition. The race is part of the Appalachian Trail Days Festival in Damascus, Virginia.
The course is an out-and-back route on the Virginia Creeper Trail. The event is professionally timed by We Run Events using a B-tag system attached to the race bib. Participants receive a race shirt and a finisher award.
The half marathon is one of three Sunday morning events, alongside a 5K and a kids run. After the races, the festival continues in Damascus Town Park with music, food trucks, and vendors.
The race is open to runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes. Baby strollers are permitted if started at the back of the pack. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are also allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
