Mountain City Mammoth 5K/10K
The Mountain City Mammoth event takes place on Saturday, April 18, 2026. It offers two distances: a 5K Run/Walk and a 10K Run. The starting point is Ralph Stout Park at 210 S. Church St. in Mountain City, Tennessee.
The course route goes through the town of Mountain City and continues into the countryside of Johnson County. This is a community-driven event. All money raised from the event supports underfunded extracurricular activities at Johnson County High School and Middle School, with funds going directly to the programs.
Packet pickup is available at Ralph Stout Park on the event day from 7:00 am to 8:30 am. The race is timed by We Run Events using B-tags attached to race bibs. Results will be available post-race.
The race protocol states that participants must wear their official race bib. The event is open to runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes. Baby strollers are permitted but should start at the back. Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed. Headphones are permitted, but participants are asked to remain alert to their surroundings.
