Mountain City Mammoth 5K/10K : Mountain City, TN
The Mountain City Mammoth 5K/10K is a community road race held in Mountain City on April 18, 2026. The event starts at Ralph Stout Park, 210 S. Church St., Mountain City, TN 37683, and the course passes through the center of town and into the surrounding countryside of Johnson County.

The event raises funds for underfunded extracurricular activities at Johnson County High School and Johnson County Middle School; all money raised is directed to those programs. The race is organized as a community-driven event and uses chip timing provided by We Run Events with B-tags attached to the back of race bibs. Results are available after the race at timing kiosks and via the event results system.
Participation rules require registered athletes to wear their official race bib and follow the designated course. The event is open to runners, walkers, and wheelchair athletes. No bicycles, skateboards, or rollerblades are permitted. Baby strollers are allowed toward the back of the starting pack.
