Track Night Austin
Track Night Austin is a running event held at 3101-3189 Hargrave St in Austin, Texas. The event features multiple track-based distances designed for participants of various ages and abilities. All races are held after sunset under stadium lighting.
Participants can choose from several individual and relay running events:
- Kids Untimed 400m (ages 5 and under)
- Kids Timed 800m (ages 14 and under)
- The Open Mile
- The Open 5K
- Elite Mile (qualification: sub 5:30 for women, sub 4:30 for men)
- 4 x 400m Relay (available for teams or individual free agents)
The races are organized into heats based on participants' goal times. To assist runners in achieving their targets, pacers are provided in every heat for the Open Mile and the Open 5K.
The event grounds include a vendor area featuring local businesses offering running gear, food, and other items. The environment is designed to accommodate both competitors and spectators within a community setting.
