Trinity Youth and Family Triathlon
The event takes place on October 4, 2026 at the Round Rock ISD Aquatic Center in Round Rock, Texas. It is a USA Triathlon sanctioned multisport event that benefits Colin's Hope, a nonprofit focused on water safety education and childhood drowning prevention.
The program includes age‑group triathlon waves for youth and high school athletes, family and recreational waves, Splash & Dash swim/run races, and multiple adaptive categories. Distances by category include:
- Youth junior (7–10): 50 yd pool swim, 2 mile bike, 1K run
- Youth senior (11–15): 100 yd pool swim, 4 mile bike, 2K run
- High school (16–17): 100 yd pool swim, 4 mile bike, 2K run
Family and relay options allow pairs or small teams to compete together in a recreational wave.
- Family Try a Tri / Family relay: 100 yd pool swim, 4 mile bike, 2K run
Splash & Dash swim/run distances:
- Junior (7–10): 50 yd swim, 1K run
- Senior (11–15): 100 yd swim, 2K run
Adaptive categories cover wheelchair, ambulatory, vision impaired, intellectual impairments, and conditional impairments. Adaptive events specify swim, bike, and/or run distances for youth and adults, note that athletes are responsible for their own guide or handler, and indicate participant parking in the handicap area next to the transition zone where provided.
