TPA's 5K on the Runway
TPA's 5K on the Runway takes place on April 3, 2027 in Tampa, Florida, on an airport runway near Tampa Bay Blvd - off Dale Mabry. Free parking is available in designated areas at Hillsborough Community College, 4001 W. Tampa Bay Blvd. Spectators may attend at no additional cost. The event benefits United Way Suncoast.

Registration opens January 15, 2027 and closes February 28, 2027. The in-person race fee is $60 and the virtual race fee is $30. Registration is limited to the first 2,000 participants and there is no onsite registration. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. In-person registration includes a race shirt; virtual entries receive a shirt and medal mailed after the event.
This is a chip timed event and results will be posted on Runsignup.com and secondwindtiming.com. TSA will provide stadium style security checks at the entrance and only small bags are allowed. Bib and packet pickup is scheduled March 30 and March 31 at SkyCenter One, with additional pickup at the race site on April 3. Awards include certificates with free registration for next year for the top three men and women in multiple age divisions and trophies for overall top finishers, wheelchair participant, and youth division winners. Children must complete the course on their own; no strollers or baby carriers are permitted. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
