Towson 4 on the 4th Run and Fourth of July Parade
The event takes place in Towson, Maryland on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The program combines a community parade with a running program that includes the Towson 4 on the 4th race and the 1776 Family Fun Run. The running route follows the parade route and includes access to Towson University trails.
A Bike Rush participation segment is organized at Burke Avenue and Towsontown Boulevard; participants are asked to decorate their bikes in Fourth of July decorations before arrival. A music performance is scheduled in front of the Historic Courthouse as part of the parade activities.
Free parking is available in the Towson Library Garage and Tolbert Garage. The event lists multiple sponsorship and donation levels for supporters, including $50 Patriot, $100 Family of Patriots, $150 Unit Sponsor, $250 Corporate Member, $500 Band Sponsor, $1,000 Corporate Sponsor, and $2,500 Star Spangled Patriot. Greenspring Advisors is named as the premier race sponsor. The Towson Chamber of Commerce is identified as the presenting organization.
