Holiday Hustle 5K and Jingle Jog Kids Run
The Holiday Hustle 5K and Jingle Jog Kids Run is a multi-event sports gathering located at Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland. The event features multiple participation options:
- 5K: A loop course staged entirely on the college campus.
- Jingle Jog Kids Run: A 0.6-mile loop designed for children ages 12 and under.
- Virtual 5K: A remote option for participants to complete the distance at their own location.
The 5K course consists of paved and crushed gravel surfaces, navigating the rolling hills of the campus grounds. It includes one water station that participants pass twice. While jogging strollers are permitted at the back of the pack, pets and other wheeled devices are not allowed. All 5K participants receive a holiday race premium, a finisher medal that doubles as an ornament, and a goodie bag. Awards are presented to the top three overall finishers across male, female, and non-binary categories, as well as several age groups. Recognition is also given for the first finisher in a full Santa costume and the most festive attire.
The Jingle Jog Kids Run takes place on the same morning. Young athletes receive a race bib, chip-timed results, and a finisher medal. Parents have the option to run alongside their children. Following the races, an indoor post-race party is held in the gym, featuring hot chocolate and treats for participants. Results for all timed events are posted online.
