Town and Country Half Marathon & 5K
The event takes place in Newburyport, Massachusetts, with start and finish at RiverWalk Brewing Co., 40 Parker St. Two running distances are offered:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 5K
Race-day bib and race swag pick-up is at RiverWalk Brewing and is available only on race day; early pick-up is not available. Competitors should not park at the start/finish. Public parking is available a short walk away at several commuter lots; public parking fees apply.
The half marathon has six aid stations with water approximately every two miles and portable restrooms at the start/finish and along the course. The 5K has one aid station with water near 1.75 miles and portable restrooms at the start/finish. Roads remain open to traffic and the local police will help monitor traffic; participants are asked to stay to the side of the road. Bag check is not available.
Award medals are given to the top three men and top three women in each age group: Overall, 19 & Under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79. Awards and purchased merchandise are available only at the race and will not be mailed, refunded, or returned. Per USATF rules, gun times are used for scoring.
A 3Peat Challenge is offered with a 10% discount when entered across the three races. A beer garden and taproom are available after the races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
