Tour de Trail: Cedar Niles
Tour de Trail: Cedar Niles is a trail race in Olathe, Kansas held on October 17, 2026 and organized by Team Sparkle. The event is presented as a roughly 10K trail course; the Tour de Trail series notes that stages typically fall between about 5 1/2 and 6 1/2 miles depending on the trail and conditions.
Registration for singular races is listed at $50, with $5 from each entry donated to Urban Trail Co. Race day registration is available at a higher fee and accepts cash, check, Venmo, or card via Venmo. Results are recorded with clock timing and will be posted on UltraSignup.
Aid stations provide water only. This is a cupless event, so participants must carry their own hydration device such as a handheld or hydration vest to receive water on course. Cold fizzy water, soda, and light snacks will be available at the finish.
Course details and rules: the route will be marked with distinctive flagging and explained in a pre race briefing. Road crossings remain open and runners are responsible for safe crossings. Dogs are allowed but must be leashed and cleaned up after; poles and alcohol are prohibited in park areas. Personal music devices are permitted with headphones at a volume that allows awareness of other users. Littering or cutting the course can lead to disqualification.
Awards include first, second, and third podiums by woman, man, and non-binary categories. All participants receive a trail-specific sticker and a handmade finishers award. Completing all six Tour de Trail stages earns a special finisher recognition. The event partners with the Trail Mix Fund to offer fee waivers for eligible applicants.
