Tour de Trail: Big Bull Creek Park
Tour de Trail: Big Bull Creek Park is a stage of the 2026 Tour de Trail series held in Edgerton, KS (33532 W 213th St). The event is a 10K-ish trail race, with courses that typically range from 5.5 to 6.5 miles depending on trail conditions. The series includes six races; discounted pricing is offered for signing up for all six before May 22.
Entry fees for singular races are $50, with $5 of each entry donated to Urban Trail Co. Race day registration is available for $60 cash or check, or $65 via Venmo or card tap. Timing uses a clock and results are posted after the race. Organizers allow four hours to finish each stage and require gear breakdown in the park by midday.
Aid on course is water only; this is a cupless event so participants must provide their own hydration device such as a handheld or vest. Finish amenities include cold fizzy water, soda, and light snacks. Alternate courses may be used if trails are closed; alternates can include cross country, equestrian, paved, or mixed terrain. The course will be flagged and markings explained in the pre-race briefing.
Rules include no poles except by medical exemption, no alcohol in county parks, leash and waste rules for dogs, no littering, and following the marked course. Kids under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Awards include first through third woman, man, and non-binary podiums and handmade finishers awards. A Trail Mix Fund partnership offers waived registrations for eligible applicants from underrepresented communities. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
