Tough Topanga
Tough Topanga returns for 2026 after two years of race site construction. The event takes place on June 20, 2026, at Topanga State Park, Trippet Ranch, 20828 Entrada Road, Topanga, CA 90290.
The event offers multiple trail distances:
- 10k main trail race
- 15k (Garapito) follows 10k then adds about 4 miles of singletrack
- 1 km junior climbs part of the 10k then veers downhill to the finish chute
The prize structure includes a total cash purse of $3,500, a Downhill Mile cash bonus, and a fastest Local Legend award. Handmade medals and a race tee are included for participants. Complimentary post race breakfast and hot cocoa or coffee are provided, and there is a beer garden for those 21 and older. Post race sports massages are available through Vision For Enrichment, and free race day photos will be available after the event.
