Tough Topanga
Tough Topanga is a trail running event at Topanga State Park, Trippet Ranch in Topanga, California. The event offers multiple course options and marked, supported routes through oak forest, chaparral, sandstone cliffs, and vistas of the San Gabriel mountains and the Pacific Ocean.

- Hiker’s Delight (non-timed)
- Jr 1k (under 13 only)
The 15k follows fire roads and the Garapito singletrack, includes sustained climbs and a final one mile descent that is timed for a Downhill Mile cash bonus. The 10k follows groomed fire road and mesa sections with a similar final descent to the finish. Aid stations are located at Eagle Junction, Garapito, Hub Junction and the finish, and aid station staffing and medical support are provided on course.
Event services include course marking suitable for daytime and night running, chip timing with same-day results, finish line announcers and a festival atmosphere with a beer garden and breakfast tacos. Participants receive a finisher medal and a race shirt, and next-day race photography is provided. Parking is off-site with shuttles on Topanga Canyon Boulevard, and Trippet Ranch parking has limited capacity and cashless pay. A portion of proceeds will be donated to LA Fire Station 69 in Topanga Canyon. All SoCalTrail events are cupless. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
