World’s Toughest Mudder
World’s Toughest Mudder takes place on 26 to 27 June 2027 at Belvoir Castle in Grantham, Lincolnshire, UK. The event is organised by Tough Mudder and runs as a 24 hour obstacle course format.
The programme offers individual entry and team relay options. Teams can be composed of 2 to 4 people or 5 to 12 people. Individual athletes and teams of 2 to 4 are eligible for podium places and prize money; teams of 5 to 12 are not eligible for podium places or prize money. There are also pit crew and spectator passes and a post-event brunch on the Monday following the main event.
Course features listed for the event include named obstacles such as Arctic Enema, described as a 4 degree ice pit; Electroshock Therapy, described as involving 10,000 volts; and Well Swung, presented as a trapeze-style obstacle. Participants receive event items on completion such as a participant bib, a finisher headband, a WTM finisher shirt, and a finisher medal for those who complete the course. Contender status and prizes apply for qualified competitors and information on rules and contender qualification is provided by the organiser.
