The Newark Half Marathon and Junior Race takes place on 16 August 2026 and is organised by RunThrough. The event supports Beaumond House Hospice, which provides palliative care and support to patients and families in Newark and Sherwood.
The half marathon is a road closed, chip timed race that starts on Hawton Road and finishes in Sconce & Devon Park. The course heads out from Newark onto quiet country roads around Hawton and Cotham. Each kilometre is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned along the route to guide and assist participants.
