Tough Mudder Chicago takes place on August 29 and 30, 2026 at Rockford International Airport, 6313 Beltline Rd., Rockford, IL 61109. The event offers multiple course formats over the weekend, including:
- 15K with 20+ obstacles
- 5K with 12+ obstacles
- Infinity (multiple 15K or 5K laps, 8-hour format)
The courses run over fast, flat fields, wooded trails and include creek crossings and other muddy obstacle features. Mudder Village at the venue includes food, music, and a finisher beer or seltzer for finishers.
Facilities and participation options
Finisher items for 2026 include a finisher medal (Hex System), a finisher shirt, and a finisher headband. Parking and bag drop can be prepaid during checkout. Ticket starting prices listed for event weekends include from $129 (15K Saturday), from $109 (15K Sunday), from $119 (5K Saturday), from $99 (5K Sunday), from $179 (Infinity Saturday).
