TOUGH Gator 5K Mud Run
The event takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 885 East Hall Road, Merritt Island, FL. The course is set on more than 200 acres of natural forest, fields, and swamps described as an untouched Florida jungle. Two course distances are offered.
- 2K (fun run, 23 obstacles)
- 5K (timed competitive option, 33 obstacles)

Multiple entry categories and fees are listed:
- Competitive 5K: $75, ages 14+, timed, 33 obstacles, top 10 male and female awards, finisher medal.
- Adult • Teen 5K: $70, ages 13+, timed, 33 obstacles, top 10 male and female awards, finisher medal.
- Family Fun 5K • 2K: Adults $60/$30, Children $40/$20; 5K has 33 obstacles, 2K has 23 obstacles; ages 4-12 included; finisher medal.
- Competitive 2K: $20, ages 10-13 only, timed, 23 obstacles, awards for 1st–3rd place, finisher medal.
Purpose and course features
The course includes more than 30 mud-soaked obstacles across undeveloped terrain and swampy trails. All proceeds from the event fund international aid efforts, including disaster relief, essential food, clothing, and medical supplies, and school materials and uniforms.
