Total Empower 5K
The Total Empower 5K is a community running and wellness event presented by Total Physical Therapy, Total Orthopedics and Sports Medicine, and Total Wellness. The event takes place at Cedar Creek Park, Field 6, 3340 Merrick Rd, Seaford, NY, and uses a course comprised of five loops.
Event amenities include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and personalized bibs for participants who register at least three weeks in advance. Bib pickup is handled by event staff before the event; a bib number is required for pickup and self lookup options are available. Last minute registrants who register within 24 hours receive their bib number by text quickly.
Awards are given to the top three male and top three female overall finishers, and to the top male and female in each age group: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 plus.
The event is aligned with Paws of War, an organization that pairs specially trained service and support dogs with veterans and first responders living with physical injuries, PTSD, and other service-related challenges.
