Total Empower 5K
The Total Empower 5K is a community running and wellness event presented by Total Physical Therapy, Total Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, and Total Wellness. The event takes place at Cedar Creek Park - Field 6, 3340 Merrick Rd, Seaford, NY. Registration is not yet open and will open ahead of the date shown on the event site.

The 5K course is completed in five loops. Event amenities include live online, text, and email results, free finish line photos, and a personalized bib for participants who register three weeks in advance. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women overall and to the top man and top woman in the following age groups: 9 and under, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80-89, and 90 plus.
Bib pickup is handled by event staff starting one hour before the event and requires the bib number; self lookup or bib lookup tools are available. Last minute registrants within 24 hours of the event can receive their bib number by text within approximately 90 seconds.
The event is aligned with Paws of War, an organization that pairs trained service and support dogs with veterans and first responders living with physical injuries, PTSD, and other service related challenges. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
