Toronto Railway Club Social 5K : description
The event is a 5 km run/walk held on October 24, 2026 at Wilket Creek Park on Leslie Street in North York, Toronto, ON, Canada. The course follows the main park road heading south under Eglinton Ave, continues through E.T. Seton Park, passes under Overlea Blvd to a turnaround at the 2.5 km mark, and returns along the same route. The course is marshalled by volunteers and monitored by course management staff.
A staffed water station is located just after the turnaround. This is an official chip-timed event provided by ENFIELD TIMING. Each participant receives a commemorative finisher's medal at the finish line.
There is ample parking north of the park entrance, and the main event area is about a five-minute walk from that parking. Onsite check-in and runner packet pick-up take place at the registration tent; packet pick-up opens before the run and participants are advised to arrive early to allow time for parking and bib collection. T-shirts are not available for registration after September 20.
Published registration fees include mandatory charges: CA$44.25 Early Bird (Apr 1 - Aug 1) and CA$57.52 Regular (Aug 2 - Oct 23). Spots remaining are listed as 135. The event supports the WTS Canadian Education Foundation, which grants scholarships to students in transportation-related post-secondary programs.
