Toronto Railway Club Social 5K
The Toronto Railway Club Social 5K is a Run/Walk held on October 24, 2026 at Wilket Creek Park in North York, Toronto. The event supports the WTS Canadian Education Foundation, a charity that awards scholarships to post-secondary students in transportation-related programs to promote diversity in the transportation industry.
The course follows the main park road, heads south under Eglinton Avenue, continues through E.T. Seton Park, goes under Overlea Boulevard to a turnaround at the 2.5 km mark, then returns along the same route. The course will be marshalled by volunteers and monitored by course management staff. A staffed water station is located just after the turnaround.
Event services include official chip timing provided by ENFIELD TIMING and a commemorative finisher's medal handed out at the finish. Runner packet pick-up and onsite check-in occur at a registration tent before the event, where each participant must collect an official number bib. T-shirts are not available for registration after September 20.
There is ample parking north of the park entrance and a short 5-minute walk to the main event area. Registration notes indicate limited spots remain. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
