Toronto Railway Club Social 5k
The Toronto Railway Club Social 5 km is a Run/Walk event on October 24, 2026, held at Wilket Creek Park Picnic Area #2, 1132 Leslie Street, Toronto, Ontario. The course follows the main park road heading south under Eglinton Avenue, continues through E.T. Seton Park, passes under Overlea Boulevard, reaches a turnaround at the 2.5 km mark, and returns along the same route.
The course will be marshalled by volunteers and monitored by course management staff. A staffed water station is located just after the turnaround point. Each participant receives a commemorative finisher's medal upon crossing the finish line. The event uses official chip timing provided by ENFIELD TIMING.
Onsite registration and runner packet pick-up are handled at a Registration Tent; participants must check in and collect their official race bib before the event. T-shirts are not available for registration after September 20. Registration is open with a limited number of spots remaining; listed fees include mandatory charges and items.
The event supports the WTS Canadian Education Foundation (CEF), which grants scholarships to students in post-secondary programs related to transportation. The event encourages participation from colleagues, industry partners, and community members while supporting the foundation's work on diversity and education in Canada’s transportation sector.
