About the race
Sunnybrook XC Prep 2 is a cross-country meet held in Toronto, Ontario at the Sunnybrook Park sports fields on October 25, 2026. It is the second of two meets at Sunnybrook before the Ontario Championship in November and is open to participants with or without an Athletics Ontario or Athletics Canada membership. The event offers two distances, both available to all age groups, with organizers recommending the distances for athletes aged 16 years and older. The course uses repeated loops: the 6 km race consists of two 3 km loops, and the 8 km race uses two 3 km loops plus one 2 km loop. Registration is open with a regular registration fee of CAD 20 and a late fee of CAD 30.
A non-member fee of CAD 5 applies. All prices are in CAD and subject to 13% HST. Payments are taken online and a small processing fee applies.
All fees are non-refundable and there are no refunds for scratches. The regular registration deadline is October 19, 2026 and the late registration deadline is October 22, 2026.
