Torbay Half Marathon
The Torbay Half Marathon and 10K take place on Sunday 20 September 2026 on the English Riviera, centred on Paignton Green (postcode TQ4 6AG). The event offers two race options:
- Half Marathon
- 10K
Entrants must be 17 or over. The main seafront road between Torquay and Paignton will be closed from 7:00am on race day. Victoria Car Park on Garfield Road, Paignton (TQ4 6AU) is recommended; other car parks and on-street parking may be limited. Facilities on Paignton Green include urinals and portaloos, and public toilets on the green charge 30p (cash or contactless).
All finishers receive a metal medal. Finisher t-shirts are optional and must be selected during registration. Trophies are awarded to the first three male and female finishers. Age category winners receive a code to claim free entry for the following year; age categories include U20 and veteran categories VO35 through VO75 for men and women.
Entry management options include a refundable registration choice and the ability to transfer entries via the event’s booking platform, with a £5 admin fee if the transfer deadline has passed. Deferrals are not offered. Volunteer roles are available via the organiser’s signup process.
Recent event figures show representation from 202 towns and cities, about 2,900 participants, around 26,000 spectators, and approximately £150,000 raised for charity.
