Torbay Half Marathon & 10k
The Torbay Half Marathon and 10k take place along the seafront of Paignton and Torquay in the English Riviera. This historic road running event is held on fully closed roads, providing a coastal route with views of the Torbay coastline. Both distances start and finish at Paignton Green.
Participants can choose from two distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10k
The course follows a stretch of the English Riviera, passing through vibrant seafront areas. The 10k route offers a scenic coastal run, while the Half Marathon extends further along the seaside setting.
The event includes chip timing and an official leaderboard. Participants receive a medal upon completion, and a finisher's T-shirt is available as an optional item. Prizes and trophies are awarded to winners and across various age categories. For logistics, a secure baggage drop is located near the start and finish area. Facilities such as toilets, water stations along the route, and medical support are provided on-site. Race numbers are typically posted to participants in advance.
Paignton is accessible by train, bus, and car. Event day parking is available in town centre car parks, situated within walking distance of the start line. There are no cut-off times for these races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
