Top Gun 40th Anniversary is held on 17 and 18 October 2026 at the Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes, MK7 8HP. Each race uses a clockwise lap route around Caldecotte Lake. Races are scheduled across two days, with one marathon and one half marathon on each day.
- Marathon - 7½ scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake (50k option available)
- Half Marathon - 3½ scenic laps of Caldecotte Lake
Logistics, rules and entries
Route description is provided at the event location. Time limits are a hard 7:00 hours for each marathon (finishers over 7:00 recorded as DNF) and 4:00 hours for the half marathon. All finishers receive a bespoke medal. Race support includes a starter, timekeeper, race referee, a large pub car park, and water and toilets on every lap of the lake course. The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules. Recommended equipment is suitable clothing and footwear.
Entry fees are listed as £39.99 per marathon and £34.99 per half marathon. The organiser does not offer refunds; entries may be deferred up to seven days before the event to another Enigma event that is open, and deferred entries must be used within 18 months. Participants must be 18 or over and declare they are medically fit and accept the risks of participation. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
