Top Gun 40th Anniversary, Milton Keynes
Top Gun 40th Anniversary is a two-day running event held on 17th and 18th October 2026 at the Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Bletcham Way, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes MK7 8HP. The courses use laps around Caldecotte Lake and are run clockwise. Route descriptions are provided at the event location and there are mandatory race briefings ten minutes before each race.
Distances include:
- Marathon: 7½ laps of Caldecotte Lake, 50k option available
- Half marathon: 3½ laps of Caldecotte Lake
There are time limits for finishers: a seven hour hard limit for each marathon and a four hour limit for each half marathon. Finishers of each event receive a unique bespoke medal. Race support listed for the events includes a starter, timekeeper, race referee, a large pub car park, and water and toilet facilities on every lap of the lake course. Participants are required to wear suitable clothing and footwear. The event is held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules.
Entry fees are set at £39.99 for each marathon entry and £34.99 for each half marathon entry. The organiser does not offer refunds; deferred entries can be transferred up to seven days before the event and must be used within 18 months.
