Enigma Running - Top Gun 40th Anniversary
The event takes place on 17 and 18 October 2026 at the Premier Inn, Lakeside Grove, Caldecotte, Milton Keynes, MK7 8HP. It is a two-day event with marathon and half marathon races on both days, held around Caldecotte Lake.
Race format
- Marathon - 7½ laps clockwise around Caldecotte Lake (50k option available)
- Half marathon - 3½ laps clockwise around Caldecotte Lake

Rules, support and fees
All entrants must be 18 years or older and accept the risks of participation. Events are held in accordance with 100 Marathon Club rules. There are hard time limits: marathon 7:00 hours (finishers over this recorded as DNF) and half marathon 4:00 hours. Mandatory race briefings take place before each race.
Race support includes a starter, timekeeper, race referee, water and toilets every lap of the lake course, and a large pub car park. Finishers receive a bespoke medal. Participants are expected to wear suitable clothing and footwear.
Entry fees are listed as £39.99 for each marathon and £34.99 for each half marathon. There are no refunds; entries may be deferred or transferred up to seven days before the event and must be used within 18 months. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
