Loop Til You Drop Backyard Ultra - Turvey House
This event uses the Backyard Ultra format in which participants must complete a 4.167-mile (6.7 km) loop each hour and begin every loop exactly on the hour. Runners who do not start a loop on time are removed from the event.
Entry options include solo, a paired option, and an 8 hour capped event. In the paired option two runners share the same route and alternate loops so only one of the pair is on course at any time; if one member cannot continue both are recorded as DNF. The paired option does not follow the exact Backyard Ultra rules and will not count toward official loops on the Bigs Backyard Stats. The 8 hour Max follows the same loop and format but is restricted to eight hours and runs during the day only.
