Top Flight BMC Track Meet - Jarrow
Top Flight by RunThrough, the British Milers Club and England Athletics North East are presenting a series of middle distance track meetings at Monkton Stadium in Jarrow in 2026. The series includes fixtures on 27 June 2026 and 15 August 2026 and runs in partnership with local clubs.
Event races include:
- 1500 m for U16 U18 U20 Seniors and Masters
- 800 m for U12 U14 combined and U16 U18 U20 Seniors and Masters
- 400 m for U10
Races will be transparently seeded with emphasis on current form. Seeding will consider season bests, two year season bests, personal bests, finishing positions in previous events and current form in complementary events such as 800 m, mile, 3000 m and 5k. Once published, start lists will have no changes within 48 hours of the event.
A total prize fund of £1100 is allocated including time based bonuses. The event also offers cash prizes linked to performance targets and a best age graded performance bonus of £100. Pace makers are recruited and paid according to distance and split accuracy, with higher rates for A races. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
