Tombstone 50 Trail Run

Event overview

The Tombstone 30k/50k/50 mile takes place on March 14, 2026 at Sunset Hill Farm County Park in Valparaiso, Indiana. The event is organized by Crazy Legs Race Series and Paul Stofko. The course is a new layout for 2026 with more hills and includes the section described as the "Roller Coaster" hills. All race distances have a 16-hour time limit. One aid station will be located at the start/finish area and a second aid station is near the 4-mile mark on the course.

Each participant receives a limited edition t-shirt, winter hat or gloves, and a cowboy hat. Finishers receive distance-specific items: 30k finishers receive a hand-made wooden finishing medal; 50k and 50-mile finishers receive belt buckles. Registration is offered with early bird pricing and scheduled price increases. Crazy Legs Race Series states its purpose is to promote non-pavement and pavement races in Northwest Indiana, holding events in parks across Lake, Porter, and LaPorte counties, and it affirms an inclusive registration policy for transgender participants.
