Saint James Almost Winter Classic 5K
The Saint James Almost Winter Classic 5K is scheduled for Saturday, November 8, 2025, at Pleasant Valley Park (Tobin Heath Field) in Basking Ridge, New Jersey. The event program includes the main 5K race plus separate elementary and middle school races for boys and girls. Details
The race was created by the Saint James School of Basking Ridge cross-country team to promote post–cross-country season running for child and adult athletes. The event began in 2020 and states that 100% of proceeds go to support programming and to help make Catholic school education more accessible. Professional timing will be provided by Compuscore. Awards include medals for the top three in multiple age and gender groups and gift certificates for the top three overall male and female finishers from a local shoe store ($150, $100, $75).
