Legwork For Lungs 5K Run & Mile Walk
The Legwork For Lungs 5K Run & Mile Walk is the event's 10th annual edition, scheduled for November 7, 2026 at Buccleuch Park, 321 Easton Ave, New Brunswick, NJ. The event takes place rain or shine and combines timed running with a community fitness walk.

- 1-mile fitness walk
The event raises funds for lung cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center during Lung Cancer Awareness Month. The program includes raffles, games, food, drinks, music, prizes, shirts, and medals. Free T-shirts are provided to the first 100 early 5K registrants; shirts are also available for purchase.
Registration options list base fees for the main events and note that totals may vary with processing fees and donations. Registered participants can receive a personalized bib if they register three weeks in advance; a bib number is required for pickup. Results are available live online and by email or text, and finish line photos are provided free on the same day.
Awards are given to the top three men and women overall and to top men and women in these age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over.
