Legwork For Lungs : November 7, 2026
Legwork For Lungs is the 10th annual community running and walking event held at Buccleuch Park in New Brunswick, New Jersey. The event raises funds for lung cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center during Lung Cancer Awareness Month.
The event includes the following distances:
- 5K Run
- 1 Mile Walk
Registration opens on August 31, 2026 and closes on October 6, 2026. Entry fees are $25.00 for the 5K and $10.00 for the 1 Mile walk. A limited number of free T-shirts are offered to early 5K registrants; shirts will also be available for purchase.
On-site activities listed for the day include raffles, games, food, drinks, music, prizes, shirts, and medals. Check-in is held at the park pavilion.
Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers and to top finishers in the following age brackets: 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 & Over.
