Opening Night 2026
Opening Night 2026 is a Trials of Miles cross country meet presented by New Balance and Tuscarora High School XC at Morven Park Grounds in Leesburg, VA. The event serves as an opening meet for middle and high school teams and is scheduled for the late afternoon and early evening.
Morven Park features manicured grass fields, wooded landscape, and natural pathways. Wide open fields and connected loops provide multiple spectator locations and allow coaches to reach various points to observe runners. The course will receive a refresh for 2026, with planned changes intended to improve speed and spectator and coach access; details will be announced in May 2026.
Races are organized by division and distance, including:
- 2 miles for middle school and freshman divisions
- 5K for junior varsity and varsity divisions
