TMC Earth Day 5K at Biosphere 2
The TMC Earth Day event is a 5k run or walk held on the grounds of Biosphere 2 in Oracle, Arizona (32540 S. Biosphere Road). The course is mostly pavement with a brief dirt section and includes hilly segments and desert and mountain views. The start and finish are on the Great Lawn.

All registrants receive free entry to Biosphere 2 and access to the facility’s tours and ecosystems. The event includes a timed 5k with finisher video, age group and overall awards, post-race snacks, food trucks for purchase, a free Kid's Dash and children's activities. A souvenir shirt is provided to a limited number of early registrants; remaining shirts may be available after the race at a local running shop.
Practical notes: running strollers are allowed but participants should be mindful of steep hills and the dirt section. Pets are not permitted. The event raises funds for the Biosphere 2 Ocean Reef research program. Packet pickup is available at a local running shop before race day, and leftover shirts and some awards may be available for later pickup there.
