Event overview
The TMC Arizona Distance Classic takes place on March 8, 2026 in Oro Valley, Arizona. The event is produced by the Southern Arizona Roadrunners in partnership with Run Tucson and benefits St. Luke’s Home. Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon
- Quarter Marathon
- 5K
Course and race features
The race uses scenic roadways and runs through the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains. The course is open and fully supported for 3.5 hours, with multiple aid stations and cheer groups along the route. All participants receive a sublimated race shirt, a race number, an official finishing time, finisher’s video, and a souvenir finisher’s medal. Overall and age-group awards are given in all three events. A morning festival at the finish area includes food trucks, music, a vendor expo, and post-race refreshments.
Logistics
Race staging is at Roche Tissue Diagnostics facilities, 1910 Innovation Park Drive, Oro Valley. Packet pickup is available the day before at The Running Shop in Tucson and during race weekend at the staging site. Course maps and route information are provided for each distance.
