AZT Oracle Rumble
The AZT Oracle Rumble is a trail running event presented by the Historic C.O.D. Ranch and organized in partnership with the Arizona Trail Association. It takes place near Oracle, Arizona on the north side of the Santa Catalina Mountains and uses trails inside Oracle State Park and remote sections of the Arizona National Scenic Trail on ancestral lands of the Tohono O'odham and Ndee.
The course is mostly singletrack with constantly rolling terrain that requires sustained effort. Multiple distances are offered to cover a range of trail distances and experiences.
- 50 Miles
- 50K
- Half Marathon
- 12K
- 5K with no time cutoff
The half marathon and 12K have time cutoffs this year; the 5K is offered without a cutoff. The event is cupless and all participants are encouraged to bring a reusable bottle or cup. A collapsible HydraPak SpeedCup is available for purchase at cost.
Registration is limited and some distances typically sell out. Registration includes volunteer support, well stocked aid stations, a race shirt, prizes for top finishers, and a finisher medal for every finisher. The event supports maintenance and protection of the Arizona Trail. Refunds are not issued, though registration credit may be applied to other Arizona Trail events under the event refund policy.
