AZT Oracle Rumble
The AZT Oracle Rumble is a trail running event held near the town of Oracle, Arizona, on the north side of the Santa Catalina Mountains and within and around Oracle State Park. The race follows mostly singletrack and remote sections of the Arizona National Scenic Trail, traversing constantly rolling terrain with frequent ascents and descents and varied views across desert and mountain landscapes.
The event is presented by the Historic C.O.D. Ranch and organized by the Arizona Trail Association together with local trail runners. It is the 10th annual running of this event. Multiple distances are offered:
- 50 Miler
- 50K
- 1/2 Marathon
- 12K
Support includes staffed aid stations, race shirts, special prizes for top finishers, and a medal for every finisher. Time cutoffs apply to all distances. Registration closes on Wed, Jan 27 at 11:59PM MT. Refunds are not given, but if an entrant notifies the organizers at least two weeks before the event, 75% of the registration fee may be applied as credit toward other events in the Arizona Trail Endurance Series for the following year.
