Titan Takeoff 5K & 1 Mile
This event takes place on the campus of Indiana University South Bend and begins and ends at the Student Activity Center (SAC). The course is fully paved and loops through campus. The event is hosted in partnership with Fleet Feet Mishawaka and the IU South Bend Titans women’s soccer program.
Distances
- 5K - untimed course, open to runners and walkers, no bibs
- 1 mile - competitive mile with race bibs provided
The competitive mile will use finish-line photos to help determine the overall winner, who will receive IU South Bend women’s soccer merchandise. Check-in and same-day registration will be available on race day, and cash payments will be accepted during check-in. Parking is available in the large lot directly in front of the SAC. The event runs rain or shine and is non-refundable.
Registration fees start at $5, increase to $10 on June 3rd, and increase again to $20 on July 24th. All proceeds and donations will support the IU South Bend women’s soccer team to purchase properly fitted running shoes for preseason training, with the goal of promoting injury prevention and athlete health. Packet pickup includes one raffle ticket and two carnival tickets; additional tickets will be available for purchase at the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
