TITAN Obstacle Course Run in Klapmuts
TITAN Obstacle Course Run is an outdoor trail event at Cape Joy (The Purple Windmill) in Klapmuts, Western Cape. The event combines trail running with constructed obstacles placed along varied outdoor terrain.
Race formats include:
- Sprint: approximately 5 km with obstacles
- Savage: approximately 10 km with obstacles
Two entry levels are offered. The Elite category is competitive, timed, and requires completion of all obstacles to avoid disqualification; this Elite race serves as the Western Cape Obstacle Course Racing Provincial Race. The Fun category is untimed and allows participants to skip obstacles if they choose.
Support and services on site include medical support, marshalling, live entertainment, food vendors and a bar, a mud hose-off area, a secure key box at participants' own risk, and storage for an additional fee. Participants receive a unique Titan Medal.
Team entries are supported with team sizes from 2 to 100 participants. Group or corporate entries of 10 or more are eligible for discounted rates. Children under 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult throughout the course. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
