About the race
The AR Mini-Series #1 is a multi-sport navigation event at MTO Trails, Jonkershoek, Stellenbosch. Participants use a map to locate checkpoints by mountain bike, on foot and by boat; the fastest teams or individuals to find all checkpoints rank highest. The format is described as an adult and children multi-sport treasure hunt across three venues, with adventure elements at each location.

Displayed entry fees include R598.00 per person or R1196.00 for a team of two, and an alternative solo fee of R695.00. Additional on-site equipment is available for hire; a bike board is listed at R100. The event takes place on the MTO Trails network in the Hottentots Holland mountain range, which features extensive single track and jeep track routes and varied terrain.
