About the race
The Horison Challenge Trail Run is a timed trail event in Stellenbosch on 7 November 2026 with route options of 3 km, 5 km, and 10 km. The course starts and finishes at the Huis Horison Kermis and passes through Huis Horison grounds and surrounding vineyards. The 5 km and 10 km routes include loops through Middelvlei Wine Farm offering open views along the course.

Goodie bags are provided to the first 200 pre-entries. Medals are awarded to all 10 km finishers. All runners must register; registrations and late entries are also available the evening before the event at the venue. No registrations are accepted on the morning of the race.
Practical information and rules: children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult; dogs are not permitted on the 5 km and 10 km routes while dogs may take part in the 3 km Canicross. Dogs must remain on a lead, are not allowed in the food tent or Village Thyme, and owners are required to clean up after their animals. There is no parking inside the venue; use designated event parking and enter through Huis Horison Entrance 2.
