Tiptree 10 Mile
The Tiptree 10 Mile is a chip timed 10 mile road race held on quiet rural roads through the Essex countryside. The event is organised by Tiptree Road Runners and takes place at Leisure World Tiptree, Maypole Road, Tiptree, Colchester CO5 0EW. Entry in 2026 is listed at 23.00 GBP. The course holds a SEAA measured course certificate 15/349 and is run under UKA rules with licence number 30782.
The race is fully marshalled by club volunteers who provide support and encouragement to participants regardless of club affiliation. County championship medals are awarded to the first three England Athletics athletes in each category, with senior open defined as age 20 to 39 and veteran categories in five year bands from V40 to V70 plus inclusive by age on the day. A veteran who finishes in the overall top three may also win an open medal. Clubs form teams of three whose scores are the sum of finish positions of their EA athletes, and clubs may have fourth to sixth scorers eligible for team silver or bronze in cases where their club wins team gold.
Organisers state that profits are donated to local and national charities and that the event is supported by sponsors. Information and race administration are provided by the organising club. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
