Tin Cup Challenge
The Tin Cup Challenge is an annual community fundraising event administered by the Community Foundation of Teton Valley. Event Day in 2026 falls on July 18 at Driggs City Park and is presented as a community gathering that combines timed races, a fun run or walk, a Diaper Derby, and a nonprofit festival with booths.
The campaign includes a defined Giving Period from June 12 to July 24. Donations made during that period are partially matched by a group of supporters called Challengers, which increases the impact of each gift. Recent totals reported include $3,881,656 raised in 2025 and a cumulative total of $30,862,434. The program reports that one in three households participates and lists participation figures such as 1,623 Tin Cup donors, 228 Tin Cup Challengers, 69 Challenger Friends, and 64 participating nonprofits, with a reported 52% match percentage.
Event Day activities emphasize community participation through running, volunteering, and nonprofit engagement. Qualifying nonprofit organizations in Teton Valley are invited to participate in the program and to host booths on Event Day, creating an opportunity for donors and residents to connect with local causes.
