Wildflower Run
The Wildflower Run takes place July 4 - 5, 2026 at Grand Targhee and features multiple trail race distances through high elevation ridgelines, aspen glades and fields of wildflowers with views of the Tetons.
Distances offered:
- 50K trail race, 31.1 miles, 4,400 feet vertical gain.
- 22K trail race, 13.4 miles, 1,579 feet vertical gain.
- 10K trail race, 6.3 miles, 577 feet vertical gain.
- 1K Kids Race, 0.62 miles, 75 feet vertical gain, ages 6 to 12 only.
Each race is capped at 200 participants and there will be no day of registration. The event is cupless; participants receive a Hydrapak SpeedCup and should bring a reusable container. Aid stations on the 10K, 22K and 50K will supply water and branded nutrition products, with full aid stations staffed by Mountain Safety Patrol where noted. The 50K allows a small drop bag at the Peaked Summit aid station and has a course cut off at the top of the Dreamcatcher lift.
Additional details include restroom locations at the base lodge and select points on course, no crewing allowed, spectators allowed on course, and a rule that dogs are not permitted on the course. Post race massage and physical therapy evaluations will be available for a fee of $40 per 15 minute increment. Awards, finishers items and cash prizes for top 50K finishers are part of the event.
