About the race
Grand Teton is a two-day race weekend in Wilson and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, on June 4–5, 2027. The event features a half marathon and a 5K with on-course aid stations, an expo, and shuttle-supported logistics.
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon, point-to-point from near Wilson to Spring Gulch Road, finishing by the National Elk Refuge
- 5K Paved loop starting and finishing at the Stilson Lot in Wilson
The half marathon course is largely paved and described as mostly flat with a gentle, gradual climb in the final miles. The 5K follows a flat paved pathway loop. The half marathon lists multiple aid stations and a course cutoff; the 5K lists a single aid station.
Logistics include an expo and bib pickup at the Stilson Lot the day before the half, shuttle service from designated parking areas (Ranch Lot and 250 N Cache St), and shuttle-only spectator access to the finish area. The event operates a zero-waste policy: no single-use cups are provided on course or at the finish, and reusable containers are encouraged.
Timing uses chip timing for overall and masters awards; athletes must start in the first wave to be eligible for overall awards. Place medals are awarded across overall, masters, and age-group categories; all finishers receive a finisher medal. Race shirts are distributed at the expo and official photos are provided by a race photographer service. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
