Grand Teton Half Marathon & 5K
The Grand Teton Half Marathon and 5K are held June 5-6, 2026 in the Jackson Hole area of Wyoming, with race activity in Wilson and Teton Village. The event includes multiple distance options and weekend challenge combinations that span two consecutive weeks.
- Half marathon: 13.1 miles point-to-point from Stilson Lot in Wilson to Spring Gulch Road near the National Elk Refuge.
- 5K: trail route starting and finishing near the tram entrance at Teton Village.
The half marathon follows paved roads and a jogging trail, crosses the Snake River pedestrian bridge, and finishes on Spring Gulch Road. The course is largely flat with a gentle, gradual climb in the final miles and a modest reported elevation gain of about 300 feet. Five aid stations are provided on the half marathon course. The 5K uses summertime trails and access roads, beginning with a climb then a mostly downhill return and includes one aid station.
Event services include an expo with bib pickup in Teton Village, shuttle service to the start and spectator shuttles to the finish, live timing results hosted online, and event photos captured by FinisherPix. Awards include place medals for top finishers and age group place medals; finisher medals are awarded to everyone who completes a race. The race follows a zero waste policy so reusable hydration containers are recommended. Combination challenges such as doubles and a quad span the two race weekends and include special swag and additional medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
