Grand Teton Half Marathon & 5K
The event is a weekend of two paved road races near Wilson, Wyoming: a point-to-point half marathon and a looped 5K that start at the Stilson Lot. Distances include:
- 13.1 miles : point-to-point half marathon finishing near the National Elk Refuge
- 5K : paved loop starting and finishing at Stilson Lot
The half marathon route runs west along Teton Pass Highway, turns onto local streets and a paved jogging trail, crosses Moose Wilson Road and the Snake River pedestrian bridge, then returns east on Teton Pass Highway before heading onto Spring Gulch Road to the finish. The course is largely flat with a gradual climb in the final miles and limited total elevation change. The half features five aid stations; the 5K has one aid station. Surfaces are paved road and paved bike/pathway.
Race weekend includes an expo and bib pickup at Stilson Lot the day before the races; shuttle service and designated parking are provided from the Ranch Lot and a limited lot at 250 N Cache St. The finish area is shuttle access only with no personal-vehicle parking. The event operates a zero-waste policy with no disposable cups on course; runners are asked to use reusable bottles or hydration packs. Finishers receive a medal; place medals are awarded to top finishers overall and by age groups, and challenge options allow combined entries across weekend races.
