Grand Teton Half Marathon & 5K : June 4–5, 2027
The event offers two distances:
- 13.1 miles Half Marathon, point-to-point
- 5K paved loop, start and finish at Stilson Lot
The half marathon starts near Wilson at the Stilson Lot and finishes on Spring Gulch Road near the National Elk Refuge. The half follows paved roads and trails through Jackson Hole, crossing the Snake River pedestrian bridge and running along Teton Pass Highway before finishing on Spring Gulch Road. Organizers describe the elevation change as minimal with a gentle, gradual climb in the final miles. The half has five aid stations; the 5K has one. Both courses use paved surfaces.
Logistics include an expo and bib pickup at Stilson Lot the day before the race and shuttle service to the start from designated parking areas. Parking is available at a ranch lot and at 250 N Cache St with very limited spaces at the latter; the finish area is shuttle access only, no parking. The race follows a zero waste policy so no cups are provided on course; runners are advised to use reusable bottles or hydration systems.
Awards include place medals for top finishers overall and in age groups, finisher medals for all finishers, and opportunities to personalize medals. Combination challenge options allow runners to pair or combine multiple events across the race weekends. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
