About the race
The Time Travel event in Fort Worth, Texas takes place on January 17, 2027 and offers multiple in-person and virtual options across several distances. Registration opens July 6, 2025; some distances have earlier closing dates. Participants who register by midnight on Thursday, two Thursdays before race day are guaranteed a shirt. Event distances and formats: - Kid's Dash - 100 m (ages 10 and under) - 1 Mile - untimed - 5K - 3.1 Miles - 10K - 6.2 Miles - Half Marathon - 13.1 Miles - Virtual - run any day, packet mailed - Volunteer then Run - volunteer, then run any distance Most in-person distances include a custom bib, a designer event shirt, and a finisher medal.
Several in-person races use chip-timing with live results and awards; the Kid's Dash and the 1 Mile are described as untimed. Youth pricing applies for the 5K and 10K (12 and under priced at $17). Listed registration fees include: Kid's Dash $17, 1 Mile $22, 5K $33, 10K $33, Half Marathon $60, Virtual $42, Volunteer then Run $17. Virtual participants receive a digital bib, shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping; mailed packets are scheduled to ship the Wednesday after the race and participants may upload times and photos starting the event day.
