The Time Travel Half-Marathon (and 5k/10k) - Des Moines is scheduled for January 11, 2026, at Altoona Aquatics Park, 1200 Venbury Dr, Altoona, IA 50009. Entry fees are listed between $17 and $50; youth pricing for the 5k/10k (age 12 and under) is $17.
Registrations for the 5k, 10k, and half marathon include a custom bib, designer shirt, and a custom finisher medal. The event uses chip timing with live results and awards; free event photos and finish-line snacks are provided. The 1 Mile, Kid's Dash, and Virtual events are untimed and do not qualify for age group awards.
Age group awards are offered for the 5k, 10k, and half marathon with overall male and female, masters (40+), and top-three awards in standard age brackets up to 80+. The half marathon course is described as a double out-and-back; course routes are subject to change. The virtual event allows participants to run any day at a chosen location; virtual packets are mailed after the event and digital uploads of times and photos are accepted.
