Lace Up For Life 5K
Alpha Women's Center, a non-profit ministry that supports the unborn, mothers, and families in the community, organizes the Lace Up For Life 5K in Ankeny, Iowa. The event is centered on a timed 5K (3.1 miles) running race and family-oriented post-race activities.
Each registration includes an official 5K time provided by True Time Racing and a participation packet with items from community partners. Post-race activities listed by the organizer include free food, awards, inflatables, face painting, balloon animals, and guided tours of Alpha Women's Center. - All minors must be registered to participate; children riding in a stroller or child carrier with a registered guardian are listed at no cost.
