Heatwave Half Marathon - Greater Atlanta
The event takes place on 07/26/2026 at George Pierce Park, 55 Buford Hwy, Suwanee, GA. Multiple race formats are offered on the same day, ranging from short youth distances to a half marathon and a virtual option.
Distances and event formats include:
- Kids Dash: 50 m
- 1 Mile
- 5K
- 10K
- Half Marathon: 13.1 Miles
- Half Marathon Relay: 13.1 Miles per team entry
- Volunteer Then Run: volunteer plus run any distance
- Virtual Race: run any day at any location
Race entries for the listed in-person distances include a custom bib, designer shirt, and a finisher medal. The 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon use chip timing with live results and awards. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are untimed events. Youth pricing is available for ages 12 and under at a reduced fee for the 5K and 10K.
Relay teams require each member to register individually and teams can be formed from any number of participants. Virtual Race packets are shipped after the event and include a digital bib, shirt, medal, and shipping.
