Ngemba 5K Run and Walk Road Race
The Ngemba 5K Run and Walk is an annual community road race held at Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This is the third edition of the event and proceeds support the health and education of community members. The course is certified by USATF/World Athletics and the 5K serves as a qualifier for the Atlanta Track Club Peachtree Road Race.
The event distance is 5K (3.1 miles). First, second, and third place medals are awarded within age groups. The race offers an upgraded dry fit shirt design for registrants.
General logistics are centered near the playground at Tribble Mill Park. Parking is available near and around the playground area. Bathrooms are located near the pavilion. Packet pick-up and race-day registration are conducted under the pavilion by the playground; race-day registration accepts payment by credit or debit via a QR code and carries a higher fee than advance registration.
Published registration fee information lists a standard entry fee of $25. Sponsorship levels are available at Gold $1000, Silver $500, Bronze $250, and other donations are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
