Spooky Sprint - Fort Worth
The Spooky Sprint is a Halloween-themed running event held at Trinity Park, Shelter 3, in Fort Worth, Texas. This event offers various distances for participants to choose from, including a half marathon, several shorter road races, and a dedicated dash for younger participants. Registration includes different swag items depending on the chosen distance, such as a custom bib, designer shirt, and a finisher medal.
The race utilizes chip-timing to provide live results and awards for most categories. Participants also have access to free photos from the event. Special pricing is available for youth participants aged 12 and under for specific distances. For those unable to attend the physical location, a virtual race option allows running at any location while still receiving the event swag.
The event features the following distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles)
- 10K (6.2 miles)
- 5K (3.1 miles)
- 1 Mile (untimed)
- Kids Dash (50 meters, for children aged 10 and under)
Registration for the 1 Mile and the Kids Dash is untimed. To ensure receipt of the event shirt, registration must be completed by midnight approximately ten days before the race. A volunteer then run option is also available, where individuals assist with event logistics before taking part in a distance of their choice.
